Japan Trip : Day 7 - First Time on a Shinkansen

Day 7 : Hakone > Kyoto

Checked out of our hostel and headed to Ashi Lake.
And we were starving as we had a light dinner the night before.
Yummy

Oden from a conbini (short form for convienient store in Japan)

Breakfast with a view.
Then we headed to the famous Big Torri Gate.

Time for a artistic picture.
Autumn Leaves. It was the beginning only.

Big Torri Gate from far.

After that, we boarded the pirate ship in hopes to see Mt Fuji.
But our hopes were drown as the weather was cloudy :(
Guess we have visit Japan again to see Fuji-sama.

Ashi Lake is just beautiful.

After that, we headed back to Odawara station and bought our Shinkansen tickets to Kyoto.
It cost 12,000 yen which is equivalent to RM450+.
But like they say, you've never been to Japan if you never tried the bullet train & see Mount Fuji.
At least one is off the checklist.

A female shinkansen conductor.
Fun fact : There are only about 4 female Shinkansen conductors in Japan and we were really lucky to see her! :)

The speed is just facinating.
All the tourist were standing by the side getting ready to take a shot of this.
I missed the first time. And when I turned my head, it was gone.
Like wow.

The interior.
Despite the super fast speed, it was a surprisingly pleasant ride without any bumpiness and much noise.
We even slept on the train.
Thumbs up to Japanese technology.

Here are the videos I took inside the train.
I love how everything passes by me so quickly.
What others are doing while I sat on the train day dreaming my future.

Next Stop : Kyoto
