Day 1

Reached Penang at 8am in the morning cause only those were on sale.
I was super tired cause I had work the day before.
Took Rapid 102 from Penang International Airport to Batu Ferengghi. Cost is about RM4
The routes ends at Teluk Bahang. Duration is about 1.5 hours.
I was lucky I met a friendly bus driver and friendly auntie on the bus which had me kill lots of time.
Met up with my sister and we decided to do something touristy.
Which is to visit the Herb Garden. Entrance fee is about RM28.
But it was worth cause it took me to another dimension after being in the City for so long.
A quick suggestion for everyone else, put more mosquito repellent which is provided when you register.

You can also choose to have a guide following you or a audio device.
We chose the later but we didn't bother using it at all cause everything seems so pretty there!
Looking for Inner Peace - Herbal Tea & Bamboo Garden

The streams are super clear and cooling.

Mini Waterfalls

Souvenir Shop at the end

After that, we decided to go to the opposite stall for some snacks and shave ice (ice kacang) with this view.
After that, we took Bus 101 to our place in Batu Ferengghi.
This bus takes you all the way to GeorgeTown.
Love the buses in Penang which are efficient and clean.
Comes like every 10 mins. Unlike the ones in KL. :(
We saw lots of people parasailing too. Seems super fun but I wasn't really in the mood.

This beach is the Batu Ferengghi beach where it is more happening cause there are many fancy hotels along this area.

Had dinner at a food court across the road from McDonalds.
Loh Mee is the best. Others were ordinary.

I nearly fell asleep here while waiting for the rain to stop that day.
But it was a really fun day.

DAY 2

After a good nights sleep, we were ready for more good food.
So we headed to Penang's morning market @ Penang Road Georgetown.
Took Bus 101 from Batu Ferengghi.

And we saw some roasted pork passing by,
Good food corner.

This curry mee is the bomb. Our favorite!

Kuih Kak comes in second but it put up a good fight.

Jawa Mee

Chee Cheong Fun

After breakfast we wanted to grab this pepper biscuit.
Sis have been here before and claim it is very good.
But to our dismay it is close on Sundays.
Being patriotic to our clan, we decided to drop by the Hainanese Temple.
We then continued to Armenian Street.
The weather was crazily hot. We were literally sun burnt.
Thus, it was time for some shave ice @ 70s ice.
We had a mixtue of Ribena & Orange.

Old School Barber.

Lastly, we passed by the famous Cendol & Joo Hooi Laksa.
But it was overly crowded and were carrying quite alot of items so we decided to give it a pass as we had it the last time we were here.

After this we did some shopping and headed to Gurney Plaza to escape the heat.

DAY 3
We had breakfast below the place we stayed and packed up.
It was definitely a fun trip and it was actually quite easy to travel around in Penang with public transport.
Till next time. Bye ;)
